One method of purchasing in
quantity includes a choice of the Hind Quarter -OR- the Front
Quarter. A Quarter refers 1/4 of an animal and is approximately 110
lbs. packaged weight. A Hind Quarter is the posterior region of the
animal and will include cuts such as Munson Angus Premium Gourmet Fillets, KC
Strips, T-Bones, and Sirloin Steaks, Munson Angus Gourmet Ground Beef, Pikes
Peak and Rump Roasts, Flank and Cube Steaks, and Fajita Meat (call 785-226-2431 for current prices). A Front Quarter is the anterior region of the animal and
will feature cuts such as Munson Angus Premium Rib Eye and Flat Iron Steaks,
Munson Angus Gourmet Ground Beef, Arm and Chuck Roasts, Brisket, Chuck Tender
Steaks ($4.95/lb. package weight). Meat processing ($0.50/lb. hanging
weight) and animal transportation fees are included. You can pick up your
meat order at our storage facility in Junction City or request a home delivery
(additional fee) within a 30 mile radius of Junction City, KS.
(Note: Hanging weight refers to
the weight of the carcass. Trimming of fat and removal of bone from the
animal will reduce the weight of the end product.)

Both methods provide you with a wide variety of cuts from both the anterior and
posterior regions of the animal. You can pick
up your meat order at our storage facility in Junction City or request a home
delivery (additional fee) within a 30 mile radius of Junction City, KS.

Both methods allow you to specify, with the Clay Center Locker Plant, which cuts
are processed and determine the thickness of each cut. Munson Beef will transport the animal to
Clay Center for processing. You pick up your custom ordered meat at the
Locker Plant in Clay Center, KS. When you pick up your beef, you will
additionally pay the Clay Center Locker Plant a meat processing fee + tax (this
amount will vary depending on your processing and packaging specifications).
